About Us - Meet the team

Tim Craig - started out as a mining engineer in Lapland, however, Tim decided that working underground was not one for him and he moved on to become a Quantity Surveyor working with a private practice, whilst studying at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN).
Whilst Tim was working as a Quantity Surveyor in private practice, one of his clients (an Insurance Broker) asked him to assess a fire damaged property. It was whilst working on this case that Tim realised that there was a niche opportunity for a professional to act on behalf of the policy holder following an insured peril. Fifteen years on we now have 14 Insurance Brokers regularly recommending us to their clients.
Sam Hulme - worked for an Insurance Broker for 10 years before joining Tim Craig Independent Loss Assessor in 1996, Sam is responsible for the administration for the company.
Carl Bradshaw Cert CII, Cert PFS - has been in the insurance broking industry for 22 years, Carl started as an insurance clerk for a small provincial insurance broker in 1988, working his way through the Chartered Insurance Institute examinations to become a registered Insurance Broker with the IIB in approximately 1995.
Carl became a Company Director in 1997 and successfully sold the insurance brokerage in 2006, when he began working directly with Tim Craig as a Loss Assessor under the guidance of Tim Craig.
